‘Guinevere’s Pavilion’, 2009
Painted plywood, aluminium on concrete blocks
3m x 2m x 4m
Hannover, Germany

Guinevere’s pavilion reconfigures historic build methods in a playful Pop/Gothic arrangement, raised from the ground on concrete blocks, featuring a wide screen viewing window. Created remotely from the artist’s drawings, it uses the Segal build method, in which standard sheet material sizes are employed, to reduce labour and waste.
